OCR to PDF Converter
Recognition runs entirely in your browser (Tesseract.js) - the image is never uploaded to a server. Once the text is recognized, it is laid out onto a downloadable PDF (jsPDF) directly on this page.

What this tool does
Upload a photo or scanned image of a document and this tool runs optical character recognition (OCR) on it directly in your browser, then arranges the recognized text onto a standard A4 PDF you can download. No file is ever sent to a server - recognition (Tesseract.js) and PDF generation (jsPDF) both run client-side.
When to use it
Useful for turning a phone photo of a printed page, a whiteboard note, a receipt or a scanned form into an editable, searchable text PDF instead of leaving it as an unsearchable image file.
Tips for better recognition
OCR accuracy depends heavily on image quality - a sharp, well-lit, front-on photo with the text roughly horizontal recognizes far better than a blurry or heavily skewed one. Very small or stylized fonts, and low-resolution scans, are the most common causes of a poor result.
