What this does
Reads and lets you edit the standard document-information fields - Title, Author, Subject, Keywords and Creator. Producer, creation date and modification date are displayed but are read-only fields this tool does not attempt to rewrite.
Editing metadata is not a privacy guarantee
Changing or clearing these fields does not erase every trace of a document's history - other information can remain in a PDF independent of this metadata (embedded fonts, prior incremental-save revisions, XMP metadata, or content in the pages themselves). This tool is not a forensic-cleaning guarantee.
How it works
Processed on the server with Syncfusion.Pdf.Net.Core, in memory only - nothing is written to disk or retained after the response.
