A plain iframe. Works everywhere, including site builders that strip scripts. Adjust height if your content needs more room.
<div data-a2z-widget="kuwait-remittance-cost-calculator" data-height="1050"></div> <script async src="https://a2z.tools/embed.js"></script>
Adds a small script (what it does) that sizes the widget to fit its content, loads it lazily and keeps it isolated from your page's CSS.

How it works
The Kuwaiti dinar is the one Gulf currency with no dollar peg: since May 2007 the Central Bank of Kuwait has managed it against an undisclosed basket of currencies, so its rate really moves, and the widget never uses a fixed conversion. The market side comes from A2Z's shared server-cached rate table, used by every GCC remittance widget and A2Z's currency converter; the visitor's browser never contacts a rate service. A dinar is worth several hundred rupees, so a small spread is a large sum: the widget shows amounts to the fils, three decimals, as the dinar is divided. Enter the exchange company's spread as a percentage or copy its exact rate, say whether the charge is added or deducted, and see the recipient's amount, the effective rate after the charge and the total cost in dinars and as a percentage. Without the live table, entering the rate by hand still works.
Calculation method
- Reference rate = destination per USD / KWD per USD from the live table (no peg)
- Recipient gets = (amount - fee if inside) x provider rate
- Cost = amount paid - recipient amount / reference rate, to the fils
Worked examples
KWD to INR
Inputs: KWD 200; fee 1.000 on top; reference 270.358
Result: Recipient gets INR 54,071.66
A cost comparison, not a quote.
Limitations
- Provider fees and rates are your inputs.
- The reference can lag the market.
- Receiving-country charges are not included.
Where publishers use it
- An Egyptian or Indian community site in Kuwait
- An exchange company's transparent pricing page
- A domestic-worker welfare guide to sending wages home
Questions
Is the Kuwaiti dinar pegged to the dollar?
No. Since 20 May 2007 the CBK has pegged it to an undisclosed weighted basket, so its dollar rate moves; the widget always uses the live table or the rate you type.
Why are amounts shown to three decimals?
The dinar is divided into 1,000 fils, and on large rupee or pound amounts the third decimal matters.
Which currencies are included?
INR, EGP, PHP, BDT, PKR, LKR and NPR presets, plus GCC currencies, USD, EUR and GBP.
