How it works

Your text is drawn onto a canvas copy of the image at the chosen position, size, color and opacity using the canvas 2D text API. Re-clicking Apply redraws from the original image first, so adjusting settings never stacks watermarks.

Frequently asked questions

Can I add a logo image instead of text?
Not in this version - this tool watermarks with text only; an image-based watermark is a possible future addition.

Does the watermark survive re-editing?
The watermark is baked into the downloaded pixels like any other part of the image, so it cannot be removed without editing the file again.
