Review Platform Links Widget
Point visitors to the places you are reviewed - Google, Trustpilot, Yelp, Tripadvisor, Facebook or a reviews page of your own - with up to six branded buttons, badges or a tidy list, worded either to read your reviews or to leave one.

One small script from A2Z draws the component on your page inside its own Shadow DOM. It loads no social-network or tracking scripts and sets no cookies. How the A2Z kit works.

How it works
Add each place you are reviewed as one row - pick the platform and paste the address. The kit checks the host name of every address against its registry: only Google, Trustpilot, Yelp, Tripadvisor and Facebook addresses earn those names and marks, an address on your own domain is labelled with that domain, and other social networks such as Instagram are refused because this is not a follow widget. Repeated addresses are dropped and at most six are shown. In leave mode the buttons read Review us on Trustpilot; in read mode, Read our reviews on Trustpilot - use the platform's write-a-review address for the first and your public profile for the second. Three layouts share the content: rounded buttons in each platform's colour (or soft, outline and mono variants), badges that stack the wording over a large platform name, and a list with the address's host under each entry. Nothing is fetched from the platforms, so no rating, TrustScore or count appears: Trustpilot only allows its own TrustBox widgets to display such content, and a number typed by hand would quickly be out of date.
Method
- Line format written by the builder: network | address; the network word is only a hint, the address's host decides
- Allowed: google, trustpilot, yelp, tripadvisor, facebook, website (own domain); maximum 6; duplicates removed
- Text: leave = Review us on <platform>; read = Read our reviews on <platform>
- Links open in a new tab with rel=noopener nofollow; brand colour via --krl-net, readable text colour by WCAG contrast
Worked examples
Two platforms in read mode
Inputs: google | https://maps.app.goo.gl/AbCdEf, trustpilot | https://www.trustpilot.com/review/riverside.example; mode read, layout badges
Result: Badges: Read our reviews on / Google and Read our reviews on / Trustpilot
Each badge stacks the wording over the platform name next to its mark.
A label that does not match the address
Inputs: trustpilot | https://riverside.example/reviews
Result: Button: Review us on riverside.example (globe mark)
The host decides the platform; the word trustpilot in the row is ignored.
A follow link in the list
Inputs: instagram | https://instagram.com/riverside
Result: Not shown
Only review platforms and your own site are accepted.
Limitations
- Shows no ratings, star counts or review excerpts from any platform.
- Up to six links; one per platform address.
- Platforms beyond Google, Trustpilot, Yelp, Tripadvisor and Facebook appear as your own site with their host name and a globe mark.
Where publishers use it
- A guest house adding Read our reviews on Tripadvisor and Google badges to its rooms page, beside the booking button
- A software company putting Review us on Trustpilot and Google buttons on the thank-you page after a support ticket closes
- A restaurant group listing Google, Yelp and Facebook review pages in the footer of every branch site
- An online shop with its own reviews page linking to it next to its Trustpilot profile in the list layout
Questions
Why aren't my Trustpilot stars or TrustScore shown?
Trustpilot's legal brand guidelines say its reviews, TrustScore and star rating may be shown only through Trustpilot's own TrustBox widgets, not through other widgets. A2Z respects that and links to your profile instead. If you want the live score, add Trustpilot's free TrustBox next to these buttons; for a rating you report yourself, Star Rating Display labels it as yours.
Which address should I use for each mode?
For Review us on, use the address that opens the writing form: your Google review link, trustpilot.com/evaluate/yourdomain, your Yelp writeareview link. For Read our reviews on, use your public profile: the Google Maps listing, trustpilot.com/review/yourdomain, your Yelp or Tripadvisor business page, your Facebook reviews tab.
Why was my Instagram link dropped?
This widget is only for places where people review you, so it accepts Google, Trustpilot, Yelp, Tripadvisor, Facebook and your own website. For Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and other profiles, use the Social Links widget, which is built for following.
Does linking to review sites help my search ranking?
The links are marked nofollow and add no structured data, so they pass no ranking signal and claim no rich result. Their value is practical: visitors who want third-party reassurance can find it in one click, and customers who want to leave feedback know where to go.
