A plain iframe. Works everywhere, including site builders that strip scripts. Adjust height if your content needs more room.
<div data-a2z-widget="property-listing-card" data-height="1100"></div> <script async src="https://a2z.tools/embed.js"></script>
Adds a small script (what it does) that sizes the widget to fit its content, loads it lazily and keeps it isolated from your page's CSS.

How it works
You choose sale or rent. A sale price can carry a qualifier such as Guide price, Offers over or Offers in the region of; Price on application hides the figure. A rent is shown with its period - pcm, pw, per month or per year - plus the usual UK equivalent underneath: a weekly rent becomes monthly as rent x 52 / 12, so 335 pw reads about 1,452 pcm, and 1,450 pcm reads about 335 pw. Floor area is typed once, in square feet or square metres, and the other unit is added using the exact definition 1 sq ft = 0.09290304 m², so 1,076 sq ft shows 100 m². The status pill uses one of six codes, worded for the market you pick: Sold STC in the UK is Under contract in the US and Australia, To let is For rent or For lease. Features are one per line (up to 12) and facts are Label | value lines such as Tenure | Freehold. The energy rating is printed exactly as you type it with a note that A2Z has not verified it. Without a photo, a tinted panel shows the property type instead of a broken image.
Method
- Monthly from weekly rent = weekly rent x 52 / 12; weekly from monthly = monthly x 12 / 52; monthly from yearly = yearly / 12
- Square metres = square feet x 0.09290304; square feet = square metres / 0.09290304 (sq ft rounded to whole numbers, m² to one decimal)
- Price = Intl currency format in the embed's currency and locale, no decimals for whole amounts
- Status label = status code + wording (UK, US, Australia or neutral; default from the currency: GBP UK, USD US, AUD Australia)
Worked examples
Weekly rent shown monthly
Inputs: mode rent; price 335; period pw; currency GBP
Result: £335 pw - about £1,452 pcm
335 x 52 / 12 = 1,451.67, rounded to whole pounds for the equivalent line.
Floor area in both units
Inputs: area 1076; areaUnit sqft
Result: 1,076 sq ft (100 m²)
1,076 x 0.09290304 = 99.96 m², shown to one decimal place.
US wording for a sale agreed
Inputs: status sstc; currency USD
Result: Status pill: Under contract
The sstc code is worded Sold STC in the UK and Under contract in the US and Australia.
A listing display, not legal or compliance advice. You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of what the card shows.
Limitations
- One property and one photo per card; a gallery or floor plan belongs on your full listing page, linked from Enquire.
- Nothing is checked: price, status, energy rating and facts are shown as you enter them, so keep them current yourself.
- The weekly and monthly rent equivalent is arithmetic only; it ignores bills, fees or service charges.
- Material information requirements differ across the UK nations and change over time; the card is a display, not a compliance tool.
Where publishers use it
- An independent estate agent's WordPress or Wix site, one card per instruction on the property page
- A landlord's lettings page showing the rent pcm, deposit and available-from date beside a Book a viewing link
- A new-build developer's plot list, one card per plot with floor area in both square feet and square metres
- A local property blog or newsletter archive featuring a home of the week with the agent's contact buttons
- A relocation or student-housing guide that lists a few vetted rentals with honest status pills such as Let agreed
Questions
Which status labels can I show?
Six codes cover the usual life of a listing: for-sale, to-let, under-offer, sstc (sale agreed, subject to contract), let-agreed and sold. The wording follows your market: in the UK the card says For sale, To let, Under offer, Sold STC and Let agreed; in the US For sale, For rent, Pending, Under contract and Rental pending; in Australia For lease and Under contract. Leave wording on Default and it follows the currency - GBP, USD or AUD - or pick neutral for international sites.
How is a weekly rent turned into a monthly one?
With the convention UK letting agents use: weekly rent x 52 weeks / 12 months. A rent of 335 pw is 335 x 52 / 12 = 1,451.67, shown as about 1,452 pcm. Multiplying by 4 instead would understate it by about 8%, because most months are longer than four weeks. The reverse line uses monthly x 12 / 52, and a yearly rent is divided by 12.
Does the card make my listing compliant with UK material information rules?
No. National Trading Standards guidance on material information (Part A, published July 2022) says property listings should include the price or rent, the council tax band (rates in Northern Ireland) and, for sales, the tenure. The card gives you a place for all of those as facts lines, but what you must disclose, and whether a listing is complete, is your responsibility and depends on the property.
Is the EPC or energy rating checked?
No - it is shown exactly as you type it (for example EPC C) with the words As stated by the agent - not verified. In England and Wales an Energy Performance Certificate rates a home from A (best) to G (worst) and is valid for ten years; link your own certificate on your enquiry page if you want buyers to see it.
Which units does the floor area use?
Type the area in square feet or square metres and choose the unit. The other unit is calculated from the exact definition 1 sq ft = 0.09290304 m²: 1,076 sq ft shows (100 m²) and 85.5 m² shows (920 sq ft). Square feet are rounded to whole numbers and square metres to one decimal place, as most floor plans are.
What happens when the photo address is wrong?
Only https images are allowed, because the widget frame refuses anything else. If the image fails to load, the card swaps in a stand-in panel - a house outline and the property type on a soft tint - so the layout never shows a broken-image icon. Give the photo alternative text describing the view, such as Front of the house from the street.
