What gets checked

The run covers the display with full-screen colour fields for dead and stuck pixels, a touchscreen grid that finds dead zones, multi-touch counting, both cameras, the microphone with a live level meter, each speaker channel, vibration, the motion and orientation sensors, connectivity, and a guided cosmetic inspection.

Buying a used phone

Run it in front of the seller, on their phone, before paying. The checks that most often surface a problem are the touchscreen grid — a phone dropped on a corner frequently has a dead strip nobody notices in normal use — and the microphone, which is easy to overlook until the first call.

Three things are worth asking about directly, because no web page can check them: whether the device is signed out of the previous owner account, whether the battery has been replaced, and whether it has been opened. The report has a place for each.

Selling a phone

A report with a grade and a share link answers the questions a buyer would otherwise have to take on trust. It records what was tested and what was not, which protects you as much as them.

What a browser cannot do

It cannot read your IMEI — nothing on the web can, and any page claiming to is not reading your handset. It cannot test the charging port, the SIM, the fingerprint sensor or face unlock. It cannot verify water damage or whether parts are genuine. Those appear as guided questions and are recorded as your answers, never as measurements.
