Case Converter Widget
Add a text case converter to your writing or coding pages. Readers paste text and switch it to Title Case with proper small-word rules, Sentence case, upper or lower case, or the naming styles programmers use.

Embed code
<iframe src="https://a2z.tools/embed/w/case-converter" title="Case Converter by A2Z Tools" width="100%" height="450" style="border:0;width:100%" loading="lazy" allow="clipboard-write"></iframe>
A plain iframe. Works everywhere, including site builders that strip scripts. Adjust height if your content needs more room.
<div data-a2z-widget="case-converter" data-height="450"></div> <script async src="https://a2z.tools/embed.js"></script>
Adds a small script (what it does) that sizes the widget to fit its content, loads it lazily and keeps it isolated from your page's CSS.

How it works
Sentence case follows the A2Z Text Case Converter: everything is lower-cased, then the first letter of the text and of each sentence (after . ! or ?, stepping over quotes and brackets) is capitalised, along with the pronoun I. Title Case capitalises every word except short articles, conjunctions and prepositions, which stay lower-case unless they are the first or last word or follow a colon; words that already have capitals inside, like iPhone or NASA, are left alone unless the whole text is in capitals. The programming cases split on spaces, punctuation and existing camel-case boundaries (XMLHttpRequest gives xml, http, request) and work line by line, so a list of names converts in one go.
Method
- Title Case small words: a an the and but or nor for so yet as at by in of off on per to up via vs
- Sentence case: capitalise after . ! ? + space and at line starts; standalone i -> I
- Word split for code cases: non-letters/digits, lower->Upper and ACRONYMWord boundaries
- camelCase, PascalCase, snake_case, kebab-case, CONSTANT_CASE applied per line
Limitations
- Title Case follows one house style; AP, Chicago, APA and MLA disagree on words like "with", "from" and "between", so edit to your guide.
- Sentence case lower-cases everything first and knows no proper nouns, so London, Monday or NASA inside a sentence come out as london, monday and nasa; fix names by hand.
- Turkish dotted and dotless i, and other locale-specific casing, use the browser's default Unicode rules rather than the language's own.
Where publishers use it
- Editorial style guides with headline capitalisation rules
- Coding tutorials on naming conventions across languages
- Fixing text accidentally typed with Caps Lock on
- Preparing product names or CSV headers for a database
Questions
Which title case style does it follow?
A common editorial style close to AP and Chicago: short function words stay lower-case unless first, last or after a colon. Style guides differ on words like "with" and "from", which are capitalised here.
Will it break brand names like iPhone?
No. Words with capitals inside are kept as written in Title Case.
How are accents and other languages handled?
Upper- and lower-casing use the browser's Unicode rules (ß becomes SS). Code-style cases keep accented letters.
Is my text saved?
No. Conversion happens in the browser only.
