EchoMinute - Voice Recorder

About EchoMinute - Voice Recorder

A private voice recorder for long recordings

EchoMinute is a calm, private voice recorder for lectures, meetings, rehearsals, interviews and your own notes. It works fully offline: there is no account, no ads and no analytics, and the app has no internet permission at all. Your recordings stay on your phone.

Record for hours

• One tap to start - recording keeps going with the screen locked or while you use other apps.
• Always visible - a notification shows for as long as the microphone is in use, with Pause, Bookmark and Stop.
• Saved as it records - every 30 minutes a finished part is closed and progress is written every few seconds, so a dead battery or a crash costs seconds, not hours.
• Standard or High quality AAC audio (.m4a).

Find any moment, like a DVR

• Search by date and time - pick a day and a time window, for example 14:00 to 15:30, and see every recording that was running then.
• Play from 14:00 - start listening exactly at the moment you picked.
• Bookmarks - mark moments while you record, label them later and find them all in Saved moments.
• Search your titles, notes and bookmark labels.

Play back and share

• A waveform with bookmarks and pauses marked, 15-second skip, speeds from 0.75x to 2x and lock-screen controls.
• Share any recording as a single .m4a file through Android's share sheet, only when you choose to.

Your storage, your rules

• Choose how long recordings are kept and how much space they may use. Old recordings are cleaned up automatically; protected and bookmarked recordings are kept.
• EchoMinute always leaves free space for your phone.

Private by design

• Recordings stay in the app's private storage, excluded from cloud backup and device transfer.
• Optional app lock with fingerprint, face or screen lock.
• Light and dark theme.
• EchoMinute never records in secret and never starts by itself. It does not record phone calls.

Perfect for

• Students recording lectures and classes
• Meetings, interviews and calls on speaker
• Band and choir rehearsals
• Voice notes, ideas and journals

Please respect other people's privacy: laws in many places require their permission before you record them.
