Why the mix matters more than any single anchor

A link profile built from one anchor text, repeated everywhere, is the single most common signal used to identify manipulated links. Genuine link profiles are messy: people link with your brand name, with the page title, with "click here", with the bare URL, because they are not thinking about SEO when they do it.

This tool does not pick one anchor for you. It produces a spread across the categories a natural profile actually has, so the choice in front of you is which mix to use, not which single phrase to repeat.

The five categories

  • Exact match — the keyword itself, nothing added. The strongest relevance signal and the riskiest to overuse.
  • Partial match — the keyword inside a longer, natural phrase.
  • Branded — your site or company name, alone or with the keyword.
  • Generic — "click here", "read more", "this page" — carries no keyword signal at all, which is exactly why a natural profile needs some.
  • Naked URL — the link text is the URL itself, as it appears when someone pastes a link rather than writing one.

What it needs from you

A target URL and a keyword or phrase. Optionally a brand name - without one, the branded category falls back to the domain read out as words.

Copyable, not just readable

Each variant comes with a ready HTML anchor tag alongside the plain text, so it can go straight into outreach email or a CMS without retyping.
