Version 0.100 is a beta release. It is free for personal, non-commercial use under the A2Z Veyra Personal Use Licence 1.0; commercial use requires a separate licence, which is not yet available.
Only three characters carry the curved signature incision: the capital A, the numeral 2 and the capital Z. Every other character has continuous strokes. Each of the three has an uncut alternative through the OpenType stylistic set ss01, which helps in small text, where very fine incisions can disappear on screen.
The release has six upright weights, from Light (300) to ExtraBold (800), as static TTF, OTF and WOFF2 files, plus a variable font covering weights 300 to 800. Each file maps 320 characters with 361 glyphs: all printable ASCII, the Latin-1 accented letters, punctuation, currency and utility symbols, and an experimental Devanagari (Hindi) working set. No italic family is included.
No trademark search, trademark or copyright registration, Google Fonts submission or marketplace publication has been made. The technical checks in the package confirm that characters and features are present; they do not certify typographic quality or Hindi orthographic correctness.
While it is in beta, A2Z Veyra is suited to evaluation and internal testing: trying the A2Z signature letterforms in headings, product mock-ups and brand explorations.
It has not yet been reviewed for small-size body text on screen (there is no dedicated hinting), for complete device and application compatibility, or for publishing in Hindi.
Features the files contain. Required shaping features apply automatically wherever the text engine supports them; optional ones, marked below, must be switched on. Support varies between applications - some office and mobile apps do not expose optional features at all.

Latin, Arabic and Hindi strings shape without missing glyphs in the included technical tests. Arabic and Hindi remain experimental and require native type design review before production-critical use.
Commercial licensing for A2Z Veyra is handled through the Monotype Foundry Platform; this download remains free for personal, non-commercial use.
Install one format at a time: the six static TTF files, or the variable TTF - not both, and not TTF and OTF of the same style together. Older application menus may list Light, Medium, SemiBold and ExtraBold as separate families. Test Hindi with whole words in the platform's own text renderer.

No. Version 0.100 is a working beta for evaluation and internal testing. Native Hindi review, spacing and kerning review, screen hinting and application testing are still to be done before a production release.
Not under the current terms. The 0.100 evaluation terms allow private, non-commercial personal evaluation by recipients the project owner authorises, and they exclude resale, public redistribution, paid client work and public embedding. Commercial licensing is intended for a later release but has not been finalised.
Hindi support is experimental. The font contains an original Devanagari working set with common conjuncts, but it has not been reviewed by a native reader, and it is not claimed to support other languages written in Devanagari or any other Indian script.
It swaps the signature A, 2 and Z for uncut versions. That is useful in small text, where the fine incisions can disappear. Turn it on in the tester, with font-feature-settings: 'ss01' 1 in CSS, or through your application's stylistic-set option where one exists.
For the broadest desktop support, install the six static TTF files. Use the single variable TTF instead where your application supports variable fonts. Do not install TTF and OTF, or static and variable, versions together.
