What this tool supports
Apple Podcasts is a directory. For ordinary shows it lists a feed the publisher hosts elsewhere, and Apple publishes a free lookup service that returns it. This tool asks Apple where the real feed is and downloads from there - nothing is taken from Apple itself.
What it will not do
- Apple-exclusive shows publish no feed and cannot be downloaded.
- Apple Podcasts subscriptions and paid channels are refused.
- Apple Music is a different service entirely and is not supported.
Questions
Why do some Apple Podcasts links not work?
Because the show is exclusive to Apple and publishes no public RSS feed. There is no public file to fetch, so the tool stops rather than looking for another way in.
Can this download Apple Music?
No. Apple Music is licensed, DRM-protected audio and is not supported here.
