Ads.txt checker

Validates a publisher's root ads.txt file per the IAB Tech Lab spec - record syntax, duplicates, and misconfigured HTML responses.

1 · Input

What is checked

Every record's syntax (ad system domain, publisher account ID, relationship type, optional certification authority ID), comment lines, duplicate records, and whether the server accidentally returned an HTML page (a common misconfiguration where a catch-all route still answers with HTTP 200) instead of the required plain-text file.

Valid syntax is not the same as a trusted seller

This checks the file's structure - it does not and cannot confirm that a listed reseller is actually authorized or trustworthy, only that the record is well-formed.
